I am in a cleaning grind so I didn't do anything worth blogging about these weekday nights. Sometimes, that's ok. Honestly, that should happen more around here but my FOMO makes it hard to do the mundane.

On Thursday, I did a visit to Brandi's Bridal Galleria in New Glarus and tried on more wedding dresses! This was the best experience I have had trying on dresses! I got to search the racks which gave me the freedom I was looking for. I couldn't be more happy with the stylist that assisted me, so I would really suggest checking them out. I didn't find my dress this week, so the search continues!

Friday was the grand opening of Candy Cloud in Middleton so I had to check it out. They have Insta-worthy bottles for their various drinks. I made my drink very sweet, which was better after the ice had melted a bit. I definitely learned not to do double syrup.

Saturday was a big day! I started at the Reedsburg Butterfest parade. I haven't been to Butterfest in years so it was nice to revisit. I used to go yearly with my grandma and we would compete in the honey butter recipe contest.

After the parade, I went to check out the fairgrounds. There is a fee to park but the admission is free. Similar to the Sparta Butterfest, the Reedsburg Butterfest is great for locals, families, and groups, but as a solo traveler, I didn't have much to do. I walked around the rides, had a corndog, watched Bossy Bingo, and a magic show before heading out. There was a wrestling show that evening but I decided to head on back.

Now I will say, I love Bossy Bingo and this is what still makes this festival exciting to me. Basically, you put money on a square, and if the cow lands a cow pie in it, you win! It's the ultimate Wisconsin raffle.

On my way home, I stopped in Baraboo and stumbled into ArtJune. I checked out some of the great art and grabbed a bag of kettle corn. Look at how cute the badger is!

When I got home from Butterfest, I got a call from a friend wondering if I would like to hit up Balloon and Blues Rally in Monroe with her. Of course I said yes!

I don't think I have ever seen a hot air balloon, so this was a real treat!

Sunday was an uneventful day and a great way to end a busy weekend.

Happy Trails!
