This was a very busy work week for me so it was a bit hard to get out and explore. But, I did get some great photos of Madison and birds!
On Saturday, I visited my friend in Monroe and we ate at New Chopsticks. I had the egg drop soup, chicken fried rice, and beef lo mien. I instantly fell in love! The prices were great as well. I can't wait to come back! But Monroe has some amazing restaurants, so it will be hard to pick one!
Afterwards, we hit up The Local Joint for wine slushies. I recommend it for a refreshing drink and cheese.
On Sunday, I watched the Good Neighbor Festival Parade in Middleton. I checked out the grounds afterwards but didn't stay too long in the heat. They change the theme every year and this year was "The Greatest Show in Town".
Afterwards, I visited the Cheese Curd Fest at Breese Stevens. It was a fun event with various gourmet cheese curds. I tried the maple and bacon and the baked potato. Both were really good but I favored the maple and bacon.
